Who we are

This website is operated by Yura Care Australia, trading as Indigenous Voices of Strength ("we", "us", "our"). Yura Care Australia is the data controller responsible for the personal information collected through this website.

• Membership and donation details — the plan you choose, whether you wish to be listed publicly as a supporter, and the association between your account and your Paddle customer record.
• Content you submit — feedback, contact messages and other information you share with us.

Payment card details are collected directly by our payment provider Paddle and are not stored on our servers.

• Processing memberships and donations, and providing customer support.
• Communicating with you about your account, transactions and important service updates.
• Keeping the Service secure and preventing fraud or abuse.
• Improving the Service and understanding how it is used.

Legal bases

We rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to provide the Service you signed up for), our legitimate interests (to run, secure and improve the Service), your consent (where required, such as for optional marketing or non-essential cookies), and compliance with legal obligations.

• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of memberships and donations, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Service providers we rely on for hosting, database, email delivery, authentication and analytics.

• Authorities, where we are required to do so by law or to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information.

International transfers

Some of our service providers, including Paddle, may process personal information outside of your country of residence. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms.

Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and for as long as we need it to provide the Service, comply with our legal, tax and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
