About

We wish to acknowledge and respect the Traditional Lands of all Aboriginal people and to acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the First Australian people of the land that we work and live upon. We pay our respects to all Elders past, present and those of the future and ask that all those who walk, work and live on traditional Aboriginal lands to be respectful of Aboriginal culture and traditions.
Sovereignty was never ceded. This was, is, and always will be Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander land.
Indigenous Voices of Strength exists to support the social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples — through shared stories, accessible education, and a clear path to culturally safe support.
We don't speak for community. We hold a space where community can speak, listen, and connect to the help that fits them.
Every word, image, and pathway on this site is shaped with cultural safety as the starting point — not an afterthought.
Stories, guidance, and decisions about this platform are led by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members.
We centre resilience, culture, and connection — not deficit. Healing is woven through who we are.
